STEPHEN KILLEEN: Stephen has recently retired after 21 years service with the Irish Defence Forces. His role as a PTI (Physical Training Instructor) and a Military Instructor has given him vast experience in the design, planning and delivery of training programmes. His years of training teams and individuals offers you the potential client a clear pathway to achieving your goals. So if you are willing to put in the hard work, Stephen can help you the absolute beginner or a person who trains regularly the opportunity at becoming a fitter, stronger and healthier person for 2019.

MAEVE MORAN: Maeve has been working in The Engine Room as a Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer since we opened in 2012. She has also Kettlebell and Spinning courses completed. She has a keen interest in camogie having played locally with Portumna and has been involved with Galway Intermediate Camogie Squad. Maeve has taken numerous group training sessions with busy mums and also runs ours Kid's Club on Mondays. She has a particular keen interest in Personal Training with younger clients.

DAMIEN BURKE: Damien has always had an interest in sport and in more recent years has concentrated in training and general fitness. He recently achieved a National Certificate in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction from Elite FPA Galway. He also competes in kettlebells sports (GS) as well as training regularly in The Engine Room. Damien is passionate about fitness and nutrition especially after his life changing event over 6 years ago. Damien had to deal with a cancer diagnoses and after battling his way to good health he has without doubt an outstanding new perspective on life. Following successful treatment Damien experienced firsthand the massive benefits of exercise and general fitness and its importance. Damien also has also gained a Certificate in Health & Fitness from University of Limerick (NCEF) and TRX(Level1) Suspension Training. Damien is an example of someone that through hard work, resilience and a lot of support you can achieve anything. Whatever the challenge you can only do your best when sometimes it may be easier to give up.
